About Alliance Jiu Jitsu
Alliance Jiu Jitsu Wilmington at 141 S Navassa Rd, Leland, NC teaches the Alliance curriculum with programs graded beginners, intermediate, advanced, competition, no-gi and kids and youth (3-15). Its beginner class is structured around the white belt journey - four degrees earned every 30 classes, with no live sparring for the first 60 classes so students can focus on technique - and progress is tracked in the Alliance app. The kids methodology grades by age band with its own stripe requirements (8 classes per stripe at white, 10 at yellow, 12 at green) and is built around four behavioural pillars: behaviour, relationship, organization and commitment. The gym opens 5:15-6:15 AM and 4:45-7:30 PM Monday to Friday.
