About Soyokaze Dojo, LLC
Soyokaze Dojo is a traditional Japanese martial arts school at Clock Tower Court, 6620 Mineral Point Road in Madison, Wisconsin, teaching Genbukan Ninpo, jujutsu and koryu karate. It was established in 2008 by Daniel Brandt Sensei, who trained from 1995 under Michael Coleman Shihan and received permission from Grandmaster Shoto Tanemura to open the dojo — Tanemura also gave it its name, meaning 'Benevolent Wind'. All students are members of the International Genbukan World Ninpo Bugei, an organisation spanning over 40 countries, and the timetable runs group, weapons, self-defence, black-belt and children's classes, with regular training set at two 90-minute classes a week.
