About Aces Jiu Jitsu Club
Aces Jiu Jitsu Club was founded in 2013 by Professor Mikal Abdullah, a third-degree black belt and US Army veteran, and runs seven programmes at two Texas locations: BJJ Core/Fundamentals taught on a structured year-long syllabus seven days a week, Advanced BJJ branded Black Belt Leadership Training, Kids & Family BJJ with Lil Aces from age four and Junior Aces from age six plus family classes, Muay Thai, fitness kickboxing, women's self-defence and MMA. The club calls itself the winningest BJJ competition team in Central Texas across NAGA, IBJJF and AGF, insists its champions were developed from white belt rather than recruited, and has hosted seminars with Rigan Machado, Jake Shields and Chuck Liddell. The first session is free and new members can get up to three free months of unlimited training.
