About 10th Planet Fort Worth Jiu Jitsu
10th Planet Fort Worth opened in January 2023 when Eddie Bravo gave Douglas Frey the green light to run his own school, and teaches the system's no-gi curriculum: fundamentals, mixed levels, a dedicated leg locks class, 10 Round Tuesdays, kickboxing, kids jiu-jitsu for ages 7-13, invite-only pro practice and two open mats. Frey is a former professional MMA fighter with 15 wins and 13 first-round finishes who was promoted to black belt at 10th Planet headquarters in Los Angeles in 2022 and has cornered fighters in the UFC, Bellator, Rizin and Invicta. He coaches alongside Jinh Yu Frey, a two-time Invicta FC world champion and eight-fight UFC strawweight who retired at UFC 294 and was promoted to 10th Planet black belt in 2024.
