About Peace Garden Grappling Club
Peace Garden Grappling Club was founded in 2022 in South Fargo, North Dakota with the stated goal of bringing high-level submission grappling to the area 'without the formalities'. It teaches a no-gi curriculum drawn from American jiu-jitsu, wrestling and judo, with morning, noon and evening classes daily plus open mats, and a kids team led by coach Shehan Navaranthne that combines wrestling and submission grappling with a fitness emphasis. The club is run by three owner-coaches - head coach Baily Badillo (black belt), Drew Simmons (brown belt) and Shehan Navaranthne (purple belt) - alongside blue-belt coach and former D1 wrestler Noah Cressell, and publishes a straightforward membership menu from a 4-visits-a-month limited option up to unlimited adult training.
