About Epoch BJJ
Epoch BJJ is a Wilmington, North Carolina academy teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and self defense, named for the idea that martial arts mark a turning point in a person's life. It runs gi and no-gi BJJ, fundamentals classes, Muay Thai and striking fundamentals, kids BJJ and Muay Thai for ages 5-12, and women's-only self defense delivered as private group sessions. Its coaching staff includes four BJJ black belts, among them a former law enforcement officer who builds courses for law enforcement and special operations, and a yoga and movement specialist. Memberships are monthly with no contract, and new students get a free week.
