About BJJ Lifestyle Academy South County
BJJ Lifestyle Academy South County is the St. Louis, Missouri dojo of BJJ Lifestyle Academy, opened in 2016 as the second location of a school founded in O'Fallon, Illinois in 2006. It teaches gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to adults and children under head coach 'Brazilian' Mike Rethmeyer, a 4th-degree black belt under Leo Peçanha and a 20-time IBJJF medalist, with brown belt AJ Reeves running the beginners and fundamentals class at this location on Monday nights. Adult classes run from beginner fundamentals to a national competition pathway; the children's programme normally starts at age 7. The school is sponsored by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare.
