A2 Jiu-Jitsu is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu school at 4359 Jackson Rd just west of Ann Arbor, MI, teaching self-defense gi classes, sport jiu-jitsu in both gi and no-gi, a kids program for ages 5-12, a Sunday women's self-defense class and a Saturday open mat, with private lessons on request. Both instructors are black belts under Ryan Fiorenzi: Marine Corps veteran Andrew Stewart, who started training in 2006 and was promoted in 2022, and Andy DeJesus, a first-degree BJJ black belt who is also a 5th-degree Tae Kwon Do black belt, a kickboxing black belt under Duke Roufus and a black belt in Modern Arnis. Free trial classes are offered for adults, for kids and for the women's self-defense class.
