About Asian Martial Arts Studio
Asian Martial Arts Studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan has taught traditional East Asian martial arts since 1974 and calls itself the city's oldest full-time martial arts school. Four adult programs run through the week - Okinawan Karate-do, Aikido, Hung Gar Kung Fu and Wing Chun Kung Fu - plus a Saturday children's program for ages 6-12 that introduces karate, judo, aikido and kung fu as separate traditions. Members may attend as many classes in their program as they like and are encouraged to take up a second art later on; the studio has cushioned mats, traditional weapons, weight training equipment and book and video libraries.
