About Executive Martial Arts

Executive Martial Arts is a West Nashville school teaching traditional Hapkido as the Korea Hapkido Federation (KHF) USA Branch. Founder and grandmaster Doju Chris Garland (Ronald Christopher Garland), an 8th dan, is a former US Army infantryman and Diplomatic Security Officer at the US Embassy in Baghdad who has trained Houston Police Department officers in defensive tactics and been recognised twice by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee. The school runs kids classes (ages 5-6 and 7+) and an adult class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, women's self-defence, traditional Asian weapons (sword, staff and knife), swordsmanship, private lessons and specialised military and law-enforcement training.
