True Believer Jiu-Jitsu at 997 West View Park Drive in Pittsburgh, PA was founded in 2015 by black belt Jacob 'Jake' Miclot and became a TAC (Thursday Afternoon Crew) Team affiliate in 2025. Its seven programs run gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu, a no-sparring Intro to BJJ on-ramp for complete beginners, Fundamentals, advanced/competition training, a women's-only class, teens and kids BJJ, plus a wrestling class and a Saturday leglocks session. Classes run mornings, middays and evenings every day of the week, every session is built around a single technical concept, and the first class is free.

First class is free and any of the seven classes qualifies (Fundamentals is the recommended start); cost listed as $0, arrive 15 minutes early. Booked via an intake form with a 48-hour response.
