About Clarks University of Martial Arts

Clarks University of Martial Arts is a 5,000 sq ft studio in Bend, Oregon with a full-sized ring, heavy bags and matted floors, teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and self-defense seminars to adults and a deep ladder of children's programmes: Little Dragons and Little Pandas (5-6), Little Ninjas and Black Belt Club (7-10), Samurais and Shoguns (11-14) and a Saturday kids Muay Thai class (9-14), each running two or three days a week with monthly goals, curriculum-based testing and instructional videos. Founder Ryan Clark is a 5th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Wellington "Megaton" Dias who opened one of Oregon's first BJJ academies, and also teaches Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do and Filipino martial arts; nine further coaches teach jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai alongside him.
