About Veritas Jiu Jitsu
Veritas Jiu Jitsu is a veteran-owned, family-operated academy at 1371 Fretz Dr in Edmond, Oklahoma, opened in July 2024 and since doubled from a 4,000 to an 8,000 square-foot facility. It runs Tiny Kids (3-7), Kids (7-13) and adult jiu-jitsu, kids and adult striking, rotating Fundamental Jiu Jitsu classes for beginners, and Drill Lab and Leg Lock classes timed to run during the kids' classes so parents can train at the same time. It is led by owner and head instructor Justin Overton alongside co-owner Kylie Overton and seven further coaches, competes across AGF, Jiu Jitsu World League, NAGA and Newbreed as well as MMA and kickboxing promotions, and offers discounts and dedicated events for veterans and first responders.
