About Raptor Jiu Jitsu
Raptor Jiu-Jitsu on East Danforth Road in Edmond, Oklahoma runs two disciplines — jiu-jitsu and kickboxing — for kids, teens and adults, with a structured curriculum and a fundamentals path aimed at complete beginners. Jiu-jitsu is split into Little Raptors (3-6), Kids (7-12), Teen and Adult classes in both gi and no-gi, plus homeschool classes, women's-only classes, a competition class and community open mats seven days a week. It is owned and coached by Derrick 'A-Game' Adkins, a Carlos Machado Jiu-Jitsu black belt (2021), 2007 Oklahoma high school state wrestling champion and professional fighter with Bellator, Legacy FC and LFA appearances.
