Bull City Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on Shannon Road in Durham, North Carolina is owned and run by husband-and-wife black belts Kim Rice and Jason Mask. The adult week covers mixed-level gi and no-gi classes morning, lunchtime and evening, a fundamentals class aimed at absolute beginners, a women's jiu-jitsu class, Saturday competition training and a Sunday Grappling Lab open mat, while kids classes run four afternoons a week with a 3-4 year-old band and an age-5-and-up band. Kim Rice is a two-time adult and ten-time masters world champion and an Abu Dhabi silver medallist who received her black belt from Royce Gracie black belt Jason Culbreth; Jason Mask, also a Culbreth black belt, is a US Navy veteran and career firefighter who has won gold at the no-gi Pan championships.
