About The War Room School of Jiu Jitsu
The War Room School of Jiu Jitsu in Albuquerque began in March 2020 when Professor Jose Garcia converted a 12x12 mat space in his home into a dojo, and opened as a school in 2021. Garcia is a first-degree black belt who trained from white to black belt under Gustavo Alencar at Gracie Barra Rio Rancho. Weekly classes are Littles (4-6), Big Kids (7-12), Adults Fundamentals, Advanced, Adults/Kids No-Gi, Self Defense and Live Rolling, plus Yoga for BJJ; the school is registered with the IBJJF as an academy, giving students a tournament pathway.
