About Kingdom Muay Thai
Kingdom Muay Thai is a traditional Muay Thai academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a curriculum spanning novice to advanced, a women's class and a yoga offering for mobility and injury prevention. Head coach Nick Gjelaj is an active professional fighter with nearly 40 amateur Muay Thai bouts who moved to Albuquerque for elite-level training; the staff also includes former amateur kickboxing champion and two-time professional MMA champion Jesse Tafoya, women's class coach Dana (amateur record 3-1), and former UFC interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit. The gym says it specialises in beginners and prospective students start with a booked tour.
