About KiCK Martial Arts
KiCK Martial Arts at 7683 NW Prairie View Rd in Kansas City teaches Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Taekwondo side by side, plus fitness kickboxing for teens and adults. The Gracie side runs Little Champs (5-7) and Jr. Grapplers (8-13) under Gracie Bullyproof, Gracie Combatives for adult beginners, the Master Cycle for advanced students and Women Empowered; the Taekwondo side runs Little Kickers (5-7), Kick Start Kids and Leadership classes from age 8 and a black belt class from age 9. It was founded by TJ and Tiffany Holgerson on three stated guiding principles — leading from love rather than fear, treating each student as a unique masterpiece, and the belief that children can change the world now rather than later — and part of every tuition payment funds the education of children at an orphanage in Léogâne, Haiti.
