About Integrity Martial Arts Academy
Integrity Martial Arts Academy is a karate dojo at Red Bridge and Holmes in south Kansas City that has served the metro for more than 40 years, teaching a blended curriculum built on self-discipline, self-confidence and practical self-defense. Children train as Little Tigers (4-6) and Beginner Youth (7-12); adult students range from 13 to 70. It was founded by chief instructor Kyoshi Rudolph A. Muhammad, who began in Shotokan karate as a teenager, and is taught alongside his son Shihan David Muhammad. The academy also runs the Sankofa Leadership Initiative, which trains students to teach and to do community service under the motto "Giving Back to Move Forward", and a summer camp.
