About Cooper's Kickboxing and Muay Thai Gym
Cooper's Kickboxing and Muay Thai Gym is part of Cooper's Boxing Gym, a Detroit boxing and martial arts organisation operating since 1972 from a main office at 16849 West Warren Avenue with further sites in northwest, southwest and east Detroit, Dearborn and Warren. Beyond boxing -- offered as separate fitness, beginner, amateur, professional and champion professional tracks -- it teaches Muay Thai, kickboxing including a women's kickboxing class, MMA, traditional Hapkido, defensive tactics, self-defence, kids karate, and jujitsu and grappling. Classes are taught in English, Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, Ukrainian, Thai, Polish and Igbo, with separate programmes for men, women, teenagers and children.
