About NOLA Kickboxing

NOLA Kickboxing is the kickboxing brand of New Orleans Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (NOLA BJJ), which describes itself as the oldest and largest BJJ school in New Orleans — begun in the late 1990s as a garage grappling group and moved to its Magazine Street flagship, a converted fire station, by Professor Matthias Meister after Hurricane Katrina. The kickboxing programme is built on Muay Thai principles and taught alongside gi and no-gi BJJ, kids classes from age 4, judo and gi wrestling, and women's BJJ, across four metro-area locations.
