About Indianapolis Jiu Jitsu Coach - BJJ Academy
Indianapolis Jiu Jitsu Coach is the home academy of Marcello C. Monteiro, a fifth-degree black belt from Brazil with over 31 years in the art who has trained UFC fighters, and is managed by Professor Jonathan D. Correa, a second-degree black belt and multiple-time IBJJF gold medallist. Adults train a step-by-step curriculum split into Levels 1-3 for white belts with three stripes or fewer and Level 4 and advanced for four-stripe whites and above; children train Kids BJJ for ages 5-10 and Junior Adults for 10 and up, and there are classes aimed specifically at women. Private and small-group lessons take up to four people, and every student gets access to Monteiro's professionally recorded white-to-black-belt curriculum online. The gym has about 1,000 square feet of mat space, private changing rooms and a pro shop.
