About Känsept Jiu-Jitsu Academy
Känsept Academy is a modern Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in Honolulu built around a conceptual approach to learning — its Train, Believe, Execute philosophy aims to make students problem-solvers rather than technique collectors. It runs Beginner BJJ, Fundamentals BJJ and Mixed BJJ classes for teens and adults plus a competition class, and welcomes drop-ins with day and week options. Owner and head instructor Jeremiah 'Miah' San Nicolas, born and raised in Guam, has trained for over 14 years and received his black belt in November 2019 from Chris Gutierrez at Conde Koma BJJ in Long Beach; he is also a ten-year Coast Guard veteran and a certified personal trainer.
