About Renaissance of Jiu Jitsu
Renaissance of Jiu Jitsu (ROJ) was founded in December 2018 at 13830 Grand Bay Pkwy in Jacksonville, Florida, as a collaboration between owner Clint Dosio and Robson "Robinho" Moura, a 5th degree black belt and 8-time world champion. It teaches jiu-jitsu, judo and self-defense to adults, kids jiu-jitsu from age 7 and kids judo from age 3, and runs a competition program that blends jiu-jitsu with judo and wrestling takedowns. Clint Dosio, a black belt under Moura, teaches self-defense as the foundation of the belt system before building toward competition, and the academy charges no registration fee.
