About Combatives Unlimited
Combatives Unlimited is a reality-based self-defense and martial arts school in Jacksonville, Florida, founded in 1994 by Juan Roberto Perez, a former US Army Ranger who ran the Rangers' hand-to-hand combat programme. It teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Combat Submission Wrestling, Muay Thai, STX Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do and Kali-Escrima-Silat, plus a youth programme for ages 6-15 split into MMA Kickboxing and MMA Grappling tracks. Perez holds full instructor credentials under Dan Inosanto, Erik Paulson, Burton Richardson and Ajarn Surachai Sirisute, and a 2nd-degree BJJ black belt under Luiz Palhares.
