Performance Combat MMA in Wallingford, CT teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing, boxing and MMA for adults and kids. Owner and head coach Mike has 29 years in martial arts including 22 years of BJJ and 22 of Muay Thai, is a BJJ black belt under Master Ricardo Cavalcanti and a karate black belt, has trained in Russian Sambo, wrestling, boxing and judo, has cornered over 130 fights and works as a professional MMA referee, Muay Thai and MMA judge and ISKA worlds team coach. Ricardo Cavalcanti, a 6th degree black belt in the Maeda-Carlos Gracie line and a 1998 Pan American and 2010 No-Gi World champion, is the school's BJJ master, and Greg, a 3rd degree black belt under Carlson Gracie Jr. and 7-time NAGA gold medallist, assists on the BJJ classes.
