About Carlson Gracie Team Stamford
Carlson Gracie Team Stamford, also trading as Cesar Pereira BJJ, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy on Progress Drive in Stamford, Connecticut and part of the Carlson Gracie team. It runs gi classes midweek and no-gi later in the week, with fundamentals, adult all-levels, competition and drills, beginner/self-defense and advanced classes, kids split into Little Kids (5-7) and Big Kids (8-12) plus an all-ages Saturday kids class, and one-on-one instruction. Head instructor Professor Cesar Pereira is a 6th-degree black belt under Master Cassio Cardoso of Carlson Gracie Club Jiu-Jitsu, has trained since February 1992, received his black belt in 2001, has taught in Stamford since February 2011 and is a certified IBJJF referee.
