About Greenwich Jiu Jitsu
Greenwich Jiu Jitsu Academy in Cos Cob, CT calls itself the largest and fastest growing martial arts school in Greenwich, teaching BJJ, submission grappling, wrestling and self-defense through a constraints-led coaching method built on live training with resistance. Its programs are adult gi and no-gi, youth gi and no-gi banded by age, a prep class for 5-6 year olds, middle school and high school wrestling (including a pre-season program) and private lessons; the youth timetable is republished each season. Owner and head instructor Jeff Morris is a 1st degree BJJ black belt under Master Marcio "Macarrao" Stambowsky of Gracie Sports, teaching alongside black belt Angel Torres and George Reis. The academy also runs a Guardian scholarship program.
