About Fighting Arts Academy CT
FAA Fighting Arts Academy is a martial arts gym at 333 Quarry Rd in Milford, Connecticut, with over 6,000 square feet of mat space, a full-size cage and professional-grade equipment. It teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu, MMA, wrestling and kickboxing to children aged 5-15, women, beginners and a competition team. Its coaching staff includes professional MMA fighter and BJJ black belt Nick Newell, a former XFC lightweight world champion, head coach Roger Denton, a 3rd degree BJJ black belt who was Fabio Araujo's first American black belt and also teaches Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do, boxing, Muay Thai and Filipino martial arts, and head wrestling coach Ryan Roddy, a CT State Open champion and former SCC coach of the year.
