About Budo-Kan Fighting Arts of Fresno
Budo-Kan Fighting Arts of Fresno is a Wado-Ryu Japanese karate and Olympic-style karate school in Fresno, California, affiliated with the USA National Karate Federation and the Wado-Ryu International Karate Federation. Alongside kids and adult karate it runs WIKF, junior and Olympic competition teams and a Muay Thai / kickboxing programme plus FightFit conditioning. Owner and head instructor Sensei Larry Heredia began training at 11 and earned his black belt in 1989, with a background in Shotokan karate, boxing and kickboxing; Senpai Storm Heredia is a first-degree black belt and 2017 Wado World Champion on the USA team.
