About Roots Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Roots BJJ and Fitness is a family-owned Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy in Gilbert, AZ, teaching adults, kids from age 4 and a dedicated women's programme, with gi and no-gi classes and a Fundamentals track for white and blue belts. Its lead instructor is Josh Cisneros, a professional jiu-jitsu athlete with 12 years of training and 8+ years of teaching whose record includes a 2024 ADCC bronze medal, the 2020 IBJJF Pans black-belt title and three IBJJF No-Gi world titles. New students are offered a full free week of training.
