NXG Combat Sports & Martial Arts at 4315 Atlanta Highway in Montgomery, Alabama has served the area since 2009 and runs one flat-rate membership covering unlimited kickboxing, gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling. Classes are banded as Littles (5-8), Youth (9-14), Adults (15+) and a daytime homeschool class from age 8, with a 5:30 am early-bird jiu-jitsu slot, adult open mats every weekday evening and a two-hour Saturday morning open mat. Head coach Michael Bateman is a first-degree BJJ black belt under Professor John Ouano and a 6th-degree Taekwondo black belt, a USAF-recognised Senior Combatives Instructor and an IFL Coach of the Year with 40 years of training behind him; the family-owned, faith-based academy also runs a BJJ Bible study group and advertises no registration, belt-testing or association fees.
