About Butch Hiles Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & MMA, LLC - Charleston, WV
Butch Hiles Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & MMA is a Charleston, West Virginia academy teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, Krav Maga, self-defence and cardio classes, open seven days a week, with additional affiliated locations in WV, VA, OH, NV and NC. Its BJJ follows a structured curriculum designed by Brazilian black belt Marcello Monteiro and is backed by an online resource library of drills and belt requirements. The youth programme starts at age 3-4 and splits into two tracks — self-defence jiu-jitsu and sport/competition jiu-jitsu — with students encouraged into adult classes from 13. Butch Hiles has produced MMA champions in every weight class across several amateur and professional organisations, and is the region's most requested self-defence and anti-bullying seminar instructor, running college safety classes and corporate, school and church seminars.
