About South Sound Martial Arts
South Sound Martial Arts (SSMA) teaches authentic Cambodian Kun Khmer kickboxing (also called Pradal Serey or Muay Thai) in Tacoma, Washington, and describes itself as the first gym in Tacoma to do so. Established in 1996 and founded by Coach Srab Sroeuy, it runs beginner, intermediate and advanced classes for ages 6 and up out of a 2,500 sq ft facility with traditional Thai bags, Thai pads, focus mitts and a 22x22 boxing ring. The site lists over seven coaches and six fighters.
