About HIGH HAT BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU
High Hat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at 338 Dorset Street in South Burlington, Vermont was opened in 2023 by Coach Shayne Fenton, a brown belt training under Nick Bramlage of Infinity Martial Arts, with the aim of building a cooperative training room around fundamental jiu-jitsu, grappling and self-defense. The winter 2025/26 timetable runs gi and no-gi adult classes from 6am through the evening on weekdays, a youth program for grades 5-12 on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, and open mats on Friday evening and Sunday midday. The gym is affiliated with Professor Allen Hopkins' Team Hopkins - Hopkins is a 5th-degree black belt under Pedro Sauer - and, since 12 August 2024, with the International BJJ Globetrotters.
