GFAMMA Gladiator Fight Academy at 3324 South 275 East in South Salt Lake, Utah runs Brazilian jiu-jitsu in gi and no-gi Monday to Friday at 12:30pm and 7:30pm, Muay Thai at 6pm and MMA at 7pm each weekday, plus Saturday sparring, wrestling for MMA and private lessons. Its BJJ side is a partnership with Gustavo Rodrigues Brazilian Jiu Jitsu — Professor Gustavo Rodrigues is a 4th-degree black belt who began at Integração Jiu Jitsu in Santos, Brazil in 1995 under Master Elcio Figueiredo and was an early mentor to Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida. Head coach Ned Shuput is a BJJ black belt under Rodrigues and a 2nd-degree ISKA-certified kickboxing black belt in the Oreggia striking system, and wrestling is coached by former Iowa State NCAA qualifier and pro fighter Cole Shafer.
