Gracie Jiu Jitsu N.E. San Antonio is an independently owned Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center on Perrin Beitel Rd, teaching the licensed Gracie University curriculum under head instructor Marc Torres. Children train in the Gracie Bullyproof programme in three age bands -- Mat Munchkins (3-5), Little Champs (5-7) and Jr. Grapplers (7-12) -- learning verbal assertiveness and leverage-based control holds rather than punches or kicks. Adults start in Gracie Combatives, the beginner course covering the 36 core techniques with no competitive sparring, and progress to the Master Cycle; enrolment includes a free Gracie University Online subscription and free training at any other Certified Training Center worldwide for up to 30 days a year.
