About Bueno Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Bueno Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Lubbock, Texas run by Professor Douglas Bueno, a black belt under Gustavo 'Guto' Campos and part of the Atos Jiu Jitsu organisation. The adult programme centres on a mixed-levels gi class that bows in together before splitting by skill level, alongside no-gi grappling sessions, private lessons and one-on-one sparring-focused training limited to blue belts and up; children train as Cubs (4-7) and Lions (8-12) on separate mats. Classes run from 6am and midday through the evening Monday to Friday with a Saturday open mat, new students may borrow a gi for their first few classes, and the school runs a kids' summer camp.
