About Nashville Armored Combat

Nashville Armored Combat runs out of a 10,000 sq ft facility in East Nashville and teaches armored combat — medieval weapons fighting in full harness — alongside MMA cross-training. Its dozen-plus weekly classes include Profight (medieval weapon techniques plus MMA striking, grappling and conditioning), mass battle shield-wall tactics, sword and shield, longsword and axe weapons work, soft-kit and full-kit sparring, MMA training, and a free femme-only class every Tuesday evening for ages 18 and up. Athletes training in armor get full access to the MMA programmes of its sister gym, Wild Side Combat Sports. It is led by internationally ranked competitors, two of whom own both this gym and Armored MMA.
