About Greg Roy's Martial Arts Academy
Greg Roy's Martial Arts Academy is a traditional Taekwondo school near Hamilton Place Mall in Chattanooga, specialising in kids Taekwondo but teaching adults, teens and families as well, with a demonstration team that performs at UTC Mocs halftime shows and Chattanooga Lookouts pre-game shows. Greg Roy began training in 1988 under Grandmaster Rick Hall, started teaching after ten years and bought the school that became Greg Roy's Academy in June 1995; he is now an 8th-degree black belt and Grandmaster Instructor. The academy fields eleven named instructors and managers, including co-owner Christy Roy, a 5th-degree black belt with 29 years of experience.
