Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Sioux Falls is an independently owned Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center licensed by Gracie University, teaching the self-defense curriculum of Grandmaster Helio Gracie to children and adults, including Gracie Combatives and Women Empowered classes. It is run by husband-and-wife owners Mitchell and Jenni-Lee Evertse, both blue belts certified as instructors by Gracie University — Mitchell trained under Rener and Ryron Gracie in Torrance, CA in 2023, and also works full time as a firefighter and paramedic. Classes are currently held at First Presbyterian Church, 2300 S West Ave, with the academy on location only during scheduled class times, and new students can book a free trial.
