About Deep Waters Jiu Jitsu
Deep Waters Jiu Jitsu opened on 17 April 2017 in downtown Columbia, South Carolina and now runs two sites, the Hampton Street location and a Northeast/Elgin location. It teaches gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with beginner, kids, homeschool-kids, women's-only and Judo classes, plus private lessons and a monthly open mat. The academy trains under Professor Helio "Soneca" Moreira, and is owned by black belt Tillman Keadle, who has grappled since 2001 and been promoted through the Maeda-Carlos Gracie-Carlos Gracie Jr.-Soneca line.
