About GC Muay Thai
GC Combat on Ashmore Rd in Bundall is the Gold Coast home of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and MMA under one roof, formed in 2025 by merging GCBJJ - founded in 2020 by Professor Daniel Almeida - with GC Muay Thai. The BJJ program runs babies classes for ages 3-6, kids BJJ for 4-17, an invitational advanced kids class, adults gi and no-gi, a women's-only class and a structured 12-week beginners program on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Muay Thai covers kids 4-9, teens 10-13, adults, a women's-only class and sparring; the adults-only MMA program splits into striking, grappling and sparring. The facility has a main downstairs mat, an upstairs advanced area with cage panels, a Muay Thai ring and six bag stations.
