About Harrisburg Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo East

Harrisburg Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo East is the East Shore location of a multi-site Harrisburg-area school (which also runs Carlisle, Hanover, Lemoyne and York schedules), co-owned and operated for over a decade by a group of black-belt instructors. Head BJJ instructor Gregg Anderson is the Harrisburg area's first Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and has taught arrest and control tactics to military and law enforcement for over a decade; head judo instructor David Brogan holds a 4th-degree judo black belt, is president of the United States Judo Association and a licensed MMA referee for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission; co-owner Monica Brogan is Pennsylvania's first female dual black belt in BJJ and judo. The timetable covers adult BJJ in gi and no-gi, BJJ fundamentals, kids BJJ, adult judo, adult MMA, wrestling for kids and adults, capoeira, and a women's-only 'Dangerous Damsels' BJJ class.
