About Checkmat Portland
Checkmat Portland is a family-run Jiu-Jitsu academy in Troutdale, OR founded in 2021 by Professor Junior 'Juninho' Crivelari, offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi and No-Gi), Kickboxing, and homeschool BJJ programs for kids (ages 4-15), teens, and adults. As a Checkmat affiliate, the academy is part of one of the most respected BJJ organizations in the world.
