About Pace Jiu Jitsu
Pace Jiu Jitsu, trading as Atos Jiu-Jitsu Northwest, is a 4,000-square-foot academy with spring-loaded mats at 2101 Bailey Hill Rd in Eugene, Oregon. Its timetable is one of the fullest in the state — 6am 'BJJ 4 Breakfast' and noon classes daily, Intro to BJJ, white-belt-only Beginner Gi, colored-belt Gi Fundamentals, adult no-gi, drills classes, Little Ducks for ages 3-6, Youth gi and no-gi for 7-14, a kids competition class, kids and adult striking, a Saturday women's open mat and a free Saturday open mat for everyone. It is led by founder and head professor Lucas 'Hulk' Barbosa, a multiple-time IBJJF gi and no-gi world champion and ADCC medallist who came up at Atos headquarters under Andre Galvao, teaching alongside his brother Andre Barbosa.
