About Lovato's School of BJJ & MMA
Lovato's School of BJJ & MMA is the Oklahoma City headquarters of the Lovato family academy, a 10,000 sq ft facility running a seven-day schedule. The school was started in 1993 by Rafael Lovato and his father, both BJJ black belts, and Rafael Lovato Jr. took it over as his own in 2009; the site says it has promoted more BJJ black belts than any other school in Oklahoma and that the Lovato association now spans about 40 schools worldwide. The flagship teaches gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Little Warriors (4-6) and Junior Warriors (7-12) up to black-belt mastery classes, plus Muay Thai, MMA, boxing, wrestling and a competition programme.
