About Embody Youth Academy

Embody Youth Academy is a faith-based youth development non-profit on the near west side of Cleveland, Ohio, founded by Nic Paoletta and Justin Aviles and operating as an independent programme under the 501(c)(3) Building Hope in the City as fiscal sponsor. Its work with young people runs through athletics — boxing, striking and grappling training in its own gym — combined with mentorship and community engagement, and the organisation says it is adding a creative arts programme, work opportunities and a women's training programme in summer 2026, with nutrition, outdoor programmes and academic tutoring planned beyond that. It is a donation- and scholarship-funded youth programme rather than a commercial gym.
