About Unlimited Martial Arts NYC
Unlimited Martial Arts (U.M.A. Brooklyn) is a 2,300 sq ft academy at 5 Withers Street in Brooklyn teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Filipino martial arts, Jeet Kune Do, boxing and kids martial arts, with a functional strength area (power rack, dumbbells, kettlebells, six 100 lb Thai bags, grappling dummy) and a mirrored mat area for open training. Its stated philosophy is that students should not be limited to one lineage or method: the BJJ programme is headed by Coach Fernando "Reals" Restrepo, who has trained with masters from across the sport and teaches concepts drawn from several of them. Membership carries no contract and includes discounted private lessons and seminars.
