About 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Albuquerque
10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Albuquerque was started in 2017 by Coach Nate Harris and teaches Eddie Bravo's non-traditional, gi-free system of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a holistic approach to grappling that leans heavily on judo and wrestling and trains for self-defence, sport jiu-jitsu and MMA alike. Alongside the main jiu-jitsu classes it runs a kids' martial arts programme, a beginners' programme, a women-only class and an MMA class blending the ground game with Muay Thai striking, clinch work and takedowns. The coaching staff runs seven deep, including UFC interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit and an ADCC-certified referee, and the gym hosts its own King of the Mat submission takedown tournament.
